Morgan was born in 1970 in Provo, Utah where he has now returned to live. He grew up hiking, fishing and camping in the Rocky Mountains with his father and artist, Michael Coleman. At home, he watched his father paint and received early training from him. Morgan spent a year at the University of Denver studying printmaking/etching before attending the University of Utah for biology. The fine arts re-entered Morgan’s life in 1994 when he began a fine art digital printmaking company in his basement. In 2004, he rediscovered his artistic talents and started painting, concentrating mainly on landscapes. Morgan is married with two children and two dogs.
